Our Client is seeking an Embedded/ASIC Design Engineer for an extendable 6-month contract. Job is remote until post-Covid when it will be onsite 1 or days per week in San Jose, CA or Portland, OR. Responsibilities:
- Design the embedded code for network switches which use Broadcom chips.
- Write Embedded Code to design the chips.
- New and Re-Designs of network equipment.
- ASIC Design using Trident 2 Switch Chip.
- ASIC design experience.
- Broadcom Chips (software development kit) knowledge.
- Embedded Software knowledge.
- Network Switching experience.
- Network Switch, ASIC Data, and Control Path Code Development exp. required
- SDK knowledge.
- Data Monitoring, Micro-Controllers - knowledge.
- Network Equipment and Company experience.
- Telecom company experience is a plus.
- BSEE Degree.
