Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an HR Recruiter in San Luis Obispo, California. The role will be critical in our team's operations, focusing primarily on recruitment and onboarding processes. The HR Recruiter will also contribute to other HR functions such as benefits management and the creation of a new employee handbook. The role is available for hybrid remote work.Responsibilities: Lead efforts in recruiting and onboarding new employees, aiming to fill around 27 vacancies Manage the entire recruitment process including sorting through resumes, setting up interviews, and conducting candidate interviews Oversee the administration of benefits Develop and finalize the new employee handbook Utilize platforms such as LinkedIn for job postings and candidate sourcing Utilize ADP Workforce Now and Paychex for onboarding and hiring processes Perform background checks and other due diligence procedures to ensure compliance Maintain a strong applicant tracking system and other HR-related databases Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the recruitment process Manage and resolve any HR-related inquiries or issuesRequirements Proven experience as an HR Recruiter or similar role in Human Resources Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases Experience with sourcing techniques Understanding of referral programs Solid verbal and written communication skills Ability to conduct different types of interviews (e.g. structured, competency-based) Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g. phone, Skype, structured) Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS) Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS) Experience with ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode and Careerbuilder Proficiency in CRM and About Time Familiarity with Applicant Track System and conducting Background Checks Understanding of Benefit Functions and excellent Communication skills Experience with Paychex and Paychex Payroll BSc in Human Resources Management, IT or relevant degree Ability to manage the full recruitment life cycle, from identifying potential hires to interviewing and evaluating candidates Familiarity with laws, procedures, and best practices in recruitment Proficient in the use of social media and job boards Willingness to understand the duties and competencies of different roles Working knowledge of Candidate Management Systems (CMS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) Sound judgement and problem-solving skills Customer-focused mindset, with proven ability to ensure applicants have a positive experience Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Commitment to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
