Find out more at https://www.aveva.com/en/about/careers/.The candidate will work in the Digital Business Operations team alongside other Product Managers, reporting into Head of Licensing and will be responsible for updates to AVEVA’s product licensing systems and technologies.As Technical Product Manager, you will serve as the glue between the customer, Development, and Strategic Product Management branches of AVEVA’s Portfolio group for your defined product, identifying the problem areas and business opportunity for AVEVA in support of AVEVA’s strategic plans.The role will create value for customers and users by representing the business and market needs for the defined product, understanding how to break down larger user scenarios and themes from a development program into epics and features that maintain a balance between requirements and technical work items. Technical Product Managers focus on what we build and prioritize.Working within a coordinated development program theme, you will concentrate on helping your development team understand requirements by documenting user stories and behavior which in turn will help you craft the feature structure and success criteria required to address real world use cases. In short, you will discover, distil, analyze, and prioritize multiple sources of information for a development team and create organizational transparency into their delivery efforts.Job Responsibilities:

Be the trusted voice of the user for product needs within and outside of AVEVA

Balance & optimize our collective company, customer, and partner needs and insights

Develop user personas in collaboration with Strategic Product Management to reinforce value-based scenarios

Build backlog items with Development Team and prioritize work based on product strategy, agreed deliverables and user feedback

Work with Strategic Product Management and Development to:

Refine larger scenarios into specific features and success criteria

Help align and prioritize feature work and ensure adherence to the road map

Identify milestones, define priorities, and deliver a product-specific lifecycle road map

Provide input to feature implementation decisions and development reviews

Drive product release strategy by interacting with all involved parties to ensure visibility into marketing, business, and development activities

Translate product features and overall functional product direction into business benefits based on target business processes and workflows with Strategic Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and Development

Manage the relationship between the AVEVA business regions and Research and Development via regular meetings and stakeholder meetings to ensure that the business requirements are understood by Research and Development and that the business regions are fully briefed on the multi-generation plan and roadmap.

Qualifications/Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field preferred or equivalent work experience

4+ years of product management experience

Desire to learn about impacted product lines and technologies that inform product positioning

Strong collaboration skills: written and verbal communication, stakeholder management.

Ability to work effectively in a lean, entrepreneurial, global, and highly matrixed environment.

Ability to work cross functionally with both business and development teams

Proven experience in balancing multiple input streams to assist driving decision-making and prioritization activities

Prior experience working in an Enterprise/ SaaS / B2B industry preferred
