We are excited and grateful to have Dr. Katherine Hansen, a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist, on our team. We are looking for a Radiation Oncology RVT (Registered Veterinary Technician) to contribute to our commitment in providing compassionate care to our Oncology patients.Joining the VCA BAVS team is a great opportunity to utilize your skills, work with a tight-knit dynamic crew, and expand your knowledge and competencies in veterinary specialty areas. At BAVS we focus on mentoring our associates with opportunities for CE (continuing education), and training and supporting our team members as they progress in their veterinary medical career. We have recently expanded our ability to offer cutting-edge cancer care with the help of our new Halcyon. RVTs are able to assist with direct hands on care, which include performing advanced diagnostics, chemotherapy administration, and the most current treatment modalities.The ideal candidate is a team player who is a friendly, dependable, emotionally intelligent, a positive multi-tasker with excellent communication and client service skills. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in general practice or 6 months-1 year of experience in fast-paced emergency. A minimum of 2 years of anesthesia experience is required for this position.VCA Animal Hospitals offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, pet care discounts, paid vacation, holidays and sick days, health and well-being programs that provide resources and training. Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials.
