Description We are in search of a Logistics Coordinator to assist in our manufacturing operations located in San Leandro, California. This role will focus on coordinating the shipping and receiving processes, tracking inventory, and managing warehouse data entries. It is a short term contract employment opportunity that does not transition into a permanent role. Responsibilities: Oversee the coordination of various logistics, including shipping and receiving processes. Monitor product deliveries and track inventory to ensure accurate record-keeping. Perform warehouse data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Communicate effectively with truck drivers to facilitate smooth transportation processes. Utilize administrative skills to manage tasks efficiently. Leverage experience in retail, specifically related to stocking products and processing online orders. Utilize ERP systems, such as Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, etc., to streamline logistics processes. Leverage intermediate Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, to manage and analyze data. Employ a proactive approach to learning new processes and procedures within a corporate environment. Manage and resolve any logistics-related issues or discrepancies that may arise. Requirements Proven experience in a logistics coordination role within the manufacturing industry Proficient in administrative tasks, including data entry and document management Demonstrable knowledge of logistics software or transport management systems Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in the manufacturing sector Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently Excellent verbal and written communication skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook Familiarity with international logistics and shipping regulations is a plus Willingness to undertake professional development as required Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities Strong customer service skills and the ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders.
