You will play a vital role in the design and development of analytical instrumentation within the Life Sciences Mass Spectrometry organization. Our products and instruments are used in the proteomics and metabolomics arena as well as having a real world impact on human health in areas such as water safety and food safety technology.What will you do?
Work with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and scientists designing high precision analog and low frequency RF systems for scientific instruments.
Apply these efforts to proof-of-concept experiments, product improvements, and new product development.
Collaborate with scientists, mechanical and electrical engineering teams in order to bring products to market.
How will you get here?Education
B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering (M.S. degree preferred)
Experience
10+ years of product development and commercialization design experience as an Hardware/Electrical engineer.
Experience designing precision analog circuits and low frequency RF circuits.
Expertise in understanding of analog circuits involving opamps, FETs, BJTs etc.
Experience applying analog laboratory test equipment including: signal generators, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and network analyzers.
Strong hands-on use and knowledge of design and testing tools such as OrCAD, PSpice, Allegro, & DMM’s.
Experience on a product development team from initial investigation, and design through to manufacturing introduction.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Solid understanding of CE and product safety regulatory standards.
Capable of leading and driving design of large electronic sub-systems.
Positive learning demeanor and desire to work in a team.
Excellent organization skill, detail oriented.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
