Technology and communications company in San Jose is looking to hire a
NOC Incident Manager with 3+ years of experiencing working in an operations environment focused on resolving outages.- 2+ years of working with a formal process methodology, ideally the ITIL framework (Foundations level) but also would consider SOX compliance, ISO 900x compliance or other compliance experience
- Superb written and oral communication skills, absolutely fluent in written and spoken English, and proven incident leadership ability (required to lead outage bridges)
- Multi-tasking and attention to detail ability to juggle multiple time-sensitive items
- Top-notch customer-focused drive to resolve outages as quickly as possible while communicating both internally and externally
- Ability to synthesize technical information coming from numerous sources and provide high-level non-technical summaries to an executive audience
- Familiarity with ServiceNow a plus
- Familiarity with Consumer Electronics and/or video-based products a plus
- General technical background (ideally familiar with Linux and networking terminology)
- Ability to follow-up with problem tasks and create technical updates that summarize findings and any required process updates/learnings from outages
