Responsible for soliciting, negotiating and creating new corporate sales accounts as well as maintaining the current corporate client portfolio of two properties. Lead the Sales team which is additionally comprised of the Sales and Events Manager and Sales Coordinator. Work closely with the General Manager and Corporate Sales Leader to develop an effective business/marketing plan.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Assist with making sales environment conductive to learning. Participate in associate functions, client and guest events, and community eventsAssist with developing and maintaining the business/marketing plan, budgets and forecasts with General Manager and Corporate Sales LeaderQualify leads and prospects gained from tele-prospecting, cold calls, sales blitzes, and other lead sourcesProperly utilize MarRFP, MAMS, SalesPro and other brand and corporate sales toolsMake outside sales callsParticipate in joint revenue calls with General Manager and Corporate Sales LeaderCultivate lead sourcesNetwork with prospects to uncover other decision makersEstablish and maintain close contact with Top and Target accounts through phone calls, appointments, tours, written correspondence and entertainment.
