Database Architect

Database Architect Primary skills: Min 8+ years' experience in Database Architecture role and hosting solutions such as private/public and Hybrid cloud Large scale design, implementation and operations of OLTP, OLAP, DW and NoSQL data storage technologies such as MSSQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Casandra, Dynamo DB. Demonstrate excellent technical architecture skills in the context of cloud based global platform. Demonstrate ability to rapidly learn newandemergingtechnologiesanddevelopingvisionoftheirsuitabilityandroleOperationalabilities including early life cycle support and driving root cause analysis and remediation Required skills: 10 or more years as a hands-on developer with a good mix of database development and maintenance. Description: Strong in SQL and PL/PLSQL experience on MSSQL. Strong Expertise on Cloud Database for PostgreSQL and Casandra (NoSQL). Strong understandingof Performance analysis, tuningand Optimization. Knowledge on Daynamo DB would be an added advantage. Must have Global and Localization of the Data Management across regions in Cloud Platform. Must have the Design expertise on Data Governance/Data Sovereignty. Must be familiar and stay current with the industry best practices and trends related to data ingestion and database design/development. Must be flexible and motivated to work in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn and implement new Data Technologies as needed. Participate in Database Design discussions and must have experience documentingDatabase High level and Detailed Level Design. Coordinate and work with Development team for the needs that team will have. Must work with Architect to ensure the challenges are pointed out and outlined to Architect and program manager in a timely manner. Must have demonstrated experience in workingwith other database and application developers to define database architecture. Should have experience working in an Onsite/Offshore model. Key Skills:

• Min 8 or more years of experience with strong understanding of Performance analysis, tuning and Optimization.
• Strong in Microsoft MSSQL experience with HA configuration
• Strong Expertise on Cloud Database for MySQL, PostgreSQL, Dynamo SQL and Casandra.
• Good experience in Architecture and data modelling concepts, Designing and implementation of the Relational Data Model
• DesigningandconfiguringHighPerformanceclusterandnodes
