Description Technology company based in the Silicon Valley has an immediate opening for a Commercial Counsel! This Commercial Counsel will join the legal team and report to the General Counsel. This role is primarily focused on contract review, redlining, and negotiation within the telecom industry, specifically focused on sales contracts and some vendor agreements. You will be part of a small legal team providing crucial support for sales functions. The role is not bound by location and can be performed anywhere in the United States, with a preference for candidates in the Eastern Time Zone. The ideal candidate will have 8-10+ years of commercial contract negotiation experience; prior experience working with technology contracts is required. Responsibilities: Reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial and vendor contracts, with a focus on technology contracts Redlining contracts to ensure compliance and protect the company's interests Handling international contracts, requiring flexibility in schedule to accommodate different time zones Providing support to the sales team by handling contract negotiations of all sorts including guiding the team on certain contract terms, ensuring all parties understand the implications of each term Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements related to the telecom industry Utilizing your skills as a licensed attorney to ensure all contract processes are legally sound Managing contracts effectively to ensure all obligations are met and risks are minimized Collaborating with internal teams to ensure contracts align with company policies and goals Resolving any inquiries or issues related to contracts in a timely and efficient mannerRequirements Qualifications: 5-10+ years of commercial contract negotiation experience Prior experience working with technology contracts is required Proficient in redlining and negotiating sales agreements Licensed attorneys are preferred but contracts managers will be considered Ability to start working by 10am ET Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detailRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
