- 4+ years of experience in professional software development, ideally some of which you've spent in startups
- Thrives in a high growth, fast paced environment
- Experience owning technically challenging and demanding cross-functional projects
- Ability to scope, define, and execute projects based on a feature/product spec or requirement
- Experience in TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, SQL, (ideally also GraphQL)
- Experience with React and other modern web technologies, and an interest in staying on top of modern JavaScript and frontend best practices
- Experience building, scaling, and maintaining production services, and knowledge of how to compose a service-oriented architecture
- Habit of writing high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your customers
- Humility and self-awareness to understand opportunities to learn and grow
- Bonus points if you have experience in mentoring other team members, and have previously worked closely with designers
- Experience and/or interest in building social products
- Sales and Relationship Intelligence knowledge and/or curiosity
- Started your own business (could even be a restaurant!)
- Comfortable with a startup Product Sprint process. We often need to adapt to continuously shifting priorities
