VP/Director of Finance

Description We are offering a contract opportunity for a director of finance in San Francisco. This role will be instrumental in managing all accounting functions, leading budgeting processes, and ensuring financial compliance. Responsibilities: Generate monthly financial statements such as income, balance sheet, and cash flow statements Coordinate and lead the annual budgeting and monthly forecast processes Oversee the maintenance of complete and accurate financial records Improve financial systems and processes for better efficiency and accuracy, implementing best practices in financial management and reporting Act as a member of the director-level leadership team, working cross-functionally to advance the strategic plan of the organization Develop, mentor, and train finance team members to match the needs of a growing business, conducting performance appraisals, and providing guidance and feedbackRequirements Proven experience in budget preparation and management Familiarity with budget processes Proficiency in US GAAP Experience in financial statement preparation Experience with financial reporting Proficiency in Sage Intacct is required Experience with ADP Payroll is a plusRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
