Tax Preparer

Description We are in search of a Tax Preparer to join our team in the CPA industry, located in San Francisco, California. As a Tax Preparer, you will be supporting our Tax Accountants in the preparation of tax returns for various entities, including individuals, corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and trusts. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and trusts. Contribute to the collection and organization of client data and supporting documentation. Utilize CCH Prosystem for scanning and uploading client documents. Perform data entry and tax return preparation within CCH Prosystem. Address and resolve tax-related issues as they arise. Support client communication and inquiries as needed. Leverage skills in document scanning to ensure all necessary paperwork is properly filed and accessible. Assist with the process of managing and organizing client data. Requirements Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation Proficiency in using CCH Prosystem software (a major bonus) Current and valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
