Description There is an employment opportunity with an organization in the San Francisco, California area. Qualified applicants looking for a Tax Preparer CPA Firm - Other industry should apply through Robert Half. You will be entrusted with the preparation of simple and complex, individual and small business State and Federal tax returns, as the Tax Preparer. Determine and invoice for form preparation fees
Assemble transaction tax returns by hand utilizing various methods (Paper, E File, EDI Upload) with various government agencies
Type appropriate data into Tax software application
Reply to incoming client calls to help with tax questions and set appointments
Interact with clients to gather required information/documents
Conduct other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned Requirements - Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
AA or BS/BA in Accounting or finance preferred
Excellent oral and written communications skills
1+ years preparing tax returns- Ability to multitask and attention to detail are critical
Solid understanding of CCH Prosystem
Scanning Documents experience
Accurate, swift, data entry abilities
