Job DescriptionA Day in the Life:Come join us in our effort to digitally transform at Hertz! On the consumer product team, we’re looking for product leaders who will can build delightful customer experiences and modernize Hertz’s technology stack along the way. You will be partnering with design, engineering, and business teams to build scalable systems and ship features in a complex environment, where one must contend with challenges such as modernizing legacy applications, change managements, and real world operational constraints.In this role you will own critical vertical of the consumer facing technical product – Pricing. You will work cross functionally to define pricing strategy, align the roadmap, and own its end to end delivery. This is a high-impact role and will require the ability to work cross-functionally across multiple teams, and deliver in a fast paced environment.What you will do:

Define and own the pricing roadmap. Execute against long-term product roadmap, coordinating with commercial, engineering, design, and data science teams both domestically and internationally.

Work closely with the strategy, operations, and go to market teams to ensure there is a consistent and holistic approach from pilot to scaled solutions.

Communicate across constituencies: within cross-functional team, broadly within Hertz internally and external to Hertz (partners, investors, candidates, etc.)

Ensure that we have a consistent customer focus in our research, planning and decision making

Articulate and systematically test product hypotheses

Navigate complex decision-making using product data and key performance indicators

Identify and implement metrics for estimating the impact of changes to the existing risk management platforms and tools.

What We're Looking For:

8+ years of experience in the technology industry, and a B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent

Experience deploying and operating AI systems in an org a plus

Ability to own product strategy, roadmap, and execution for a product of significant complexity

Ability to identify meaningful components of competitive analysis that inform decisions for the product portfolio and roadmaps

Ability to impact areas outside of immediate scope

Strong communication skills. You must be able to work with cross-functional partners to gather requirements and explain outcomes

Strong product sense. You must be able to align your work with business objectives and make appropriate tradeoffs

Learning mentality. You must be able to pick up new skills as needed and demonstrate a curiosity about new technologies

We expect the starting salary to be around $180,000 to $210,000 with annual bonus eligibility. The actual salary will be determined based on years of relevant work experience.What You’ll Get:
