Senior Go Developer to implement and maintain a key part of device fitness stack.You will join founding development team.In this role, you’ll be use your Go expertise to solve complex problems around communication with firmware, managing the device lifecycle, handling bluetooth connectivity, and building tooling that enables our devices to operate reliably and with performance in mind.You’ll be working closely with members of the firmware team, the UI team, and other parts of the engineering organization to develop solutions to complex problems and features. The ideal person for this role is a problem solver who can quickly learn new things and cares about writing high quality, well tested code.
Requirements:- Experience with Go (3+ years preferred)
- Ability to write and debug performant, well tested, highly concurrent code
- A solid understanding of Linux and a modern GNU/Linux distribution, Debian or Ubuntu preferred
- Emphasis on writing code for stability, efficiency, and clarity
- Utilize Github for source control, task management, and documentation
- Strong understanding of Linux (Ubuntu) including tooling, security, and networking
- Prior experience interfacing hardware to software,
- developing robust state machines with error handling
- Experience integrating with BLE and Bluetooth Classic Devices
- Prior work with consumer electronics or IoT connected devices
