The Americas Applications Domain organization is searching for an experienced Senior Project Manager (PjM) to lead delivery of transformational projects at some of Microsoft’s largest Enterprise customers.If you have deep Project/Program Management expertise and the passion, drive and experience to foster strong relationships with CxOs and client PjMs to lead World-Class Application Development projects, then this role is right for you.ResponsibilitiesThe PjM is a trusted advisor both to client executives within the assigned accounts and with Microsoft leadership. It actively drives communication within Microsoft and the client to help our customers achieve their objectives and maximize the value they receive from Microsoft. You will provide relevant, clear and prescriptive advice, grounded in pragmatic experience, to continuously drive these programs through to successful completion.You will be responsible for leading engagement delivery within a formal Statement of Work (SOW) to drive predictable behaviors in terms of project process and outcomes (accomplished on time, on budget, and according to customer specifications). You will be responsible for delivery excellence, engagement quality and customer satisfactionQualificationsBasic:

Proven experience managing application development projects through all phases of a solution's or application's lifecycle in a consulting organization, with demonstrated expertise and proven abilities in risk management and mitigation, and business value or strategy consulting.

10+ years related IT project management experience

Proven experience and expertise in successful execution of large-scale, enterprise Agile programs across geographies

Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps (Team Foundation Server) or similar technology.

Strong executive presence and demonstrated ability to build, extend and maintain senior client relationships.

Exceptional communication, team building and mentoring skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead client and consulting teams, onshore and offshore.

Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Customer/Partner Relationships, Product & Technology Expertise, Project Management, Strategic Insight.

Preferred:

At least 5 years working within the Public Sector (Educational, State and Local Government and/or Federal Government)

U.S. clearance preferred

Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.

Certified Scrum Professional ™ (CSP) or Certified Scrum Coach ™ (CST)

Experience using Microsoft Project to develop WBS and Project schedules.

Bachelor's or Masters’ degree (Computer Science or Technical degree preferred) or equivalent work experience.

Location / Travel: You will be based in anywhere in the U. S., with a preference for the West Coast. Travel is an integral part of the work with our customers and can be expected to be up to 50%.
