Job Summary
The ADOPT Onsite AV Support Services Engineer reports to and works within an assigned client site location daily, providing support for technical system needs. The most important requirement for this role is the ability to create and maintain a client relationship which results in superior client satisfaction, as well as the renewal and growth of an ADOPT onsite support agreement. Support normally includes multiple aspects, such as AV provisioning, updates, assists, inventory tracking, reporting, proactive systems maintenance and repair of faulty systems and equipment.Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Utilize extensive knowledge in QSC, Google Meet, Logitech, Zoom and Neat AV technologies to resolve issues and record detailed steps taken Quickly adapt to new processes and procedures quickly while under pressure and dealing with ambiguity Take complex tasks or problems and break into smaller more manageable pieces in problem solving Provision, operate, and troubleshooting video conference technologies (QSC, Google Meet, Zoom, Logitech and Neat). Exercise successful collaboration with client-based personnel/teams and departments. Exercise successful collaboration with other contractors/subcontractors within the same space. Exercise successful collaboration with Diversified team members and departments. Interface/liaison with manufacturers/vendors to facilitate equipment repair needs Manage and maintain an inventory tracking/recording mechanism. Track/update repair needs, work duties and projects within ticketing systems. Produce summary and detailed reports. Maintain functional aspects of technical systems for an optimal ready to use state. Continue to progress elevated technical skills related to technical systems characteristics. Continue to grow and hone soft skills related to satisfactory client relationships. Create an atmosphere of pleasure and confidence with the Diversified client experience.Job Qualifications: Education/Certifications:A high school diploma (or equivalent) is a minimum requirement for this position.A background screen and driving records check will be performed for all applicants.Applicant’s must show a legal ability to work within the United States (via I9 verification).Required/Desired Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
Superior client relationship management is a requirement for this position (i.e. exhibiting the ability to create an atmosphere of tension relief during high stress encounters).
Certified Technology Specialist in QSC Technologies (Q-SYS).
Ideal candidates should have at least 4 years’ experience in a corporate IT , or AV integration environment with 3+ years’ experience in commercial AV technologies including AV systems.
Proficient in provisioning, operating, and troubleshooting video conferencing technologies (Google Meet/Zoom/Logitech/Neat).
Innovative, energetic, and able to adapt to new processes and procedures quickly while under pressure and dealing with ambiguity.
Strong analytical and organizational skills, with passionate attention to detail.
A desire and ease in establishing credibility with fellow engineers through mutually deep technical skill sets.
Ability to take complex tasks or problems and break it into smaller more manageable pieces in problem solving.
Ability to follow business processes and map business requirements into standard turnkey solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be a self-starter and enthusiast who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment.
Past experience running production live events is a plus.
