Description Our SF baes non-profit client is looking for a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join their team. As an HR Manager, you will be responsible for employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with California labor law. This role requires a deep understanding of ADP Workforce Now and other related HR tools. Key responsibilities: Overseeing all aspects of employee relations, ensuring a positive and healthy work environment. Administering benefits to all employees and addressing any related inquiries or issues. Ensuring compliance with California labor laws to protect both the organization and the employees. Utilizing ADP Workforce Now for efficient HR management and operations. Developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies and procedures in line with the organization's mission and values. Managing leave of absence (LOA) and Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) processes, ensuring all procedures are followed correctly. Upkeeping knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and ensuring the workplace meets these standards. Conducting compensation administration to ensure fair and competitive pay rates. Utilizing HRMS and other tools for efficient HR operations. Ensuring compliance with all HR-related policies and procedures.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources managerial role, preferably in a non-profit setting Proficiency in ADP Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode Experience using Ceridian and HRMS software Working knowledge of About Time software Ability to manage Benefit Functions and Benefits Administration Experience with Compensation Administration and Compensation & Benefits Understanding of HR Compliance and Compliance procedures Strong skills in handling Employee Relations and HR Policy Ability to develop and implement HR Strategy Knowledge of Labor Law Proficiency in drafting and implementing Policies & Procedures Must be able to demonstrate a commitment to the organization's mission and values.
