Lead the Finance and Accounting team (approximately 5 staff members).
Manage all local, state, and federal tax issues, including timely filings.
Prepare and communicate quarterly and annual financial statements.
Facilitate external audits and maintain key relationships with auditors.
Oversee financial and accounting systems, tools, and control systems.
Maintain banking relationships, strategic alliances with vendors and business partners.
Use forward-looking models to provide financial insight into organization's plans and operating budgets.
Supervise the creation of reports and tools for budgeting and forecasting.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Over 15 years of experience in Private Equity or Fund Administration and real estate.
Background in Big 10 Public Accounting; CPA preferred.
Proficient in Fair Value GAAP, Tax, Internal Control and Regulatory compliance reporting.
Outstanding communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated leadership ability with experience in motivating staff.
Understanding of partnership flowthrough tax returns, disregarded entities, multi-state jurisdictions, and individual tax.
