Description Please call Andrew Winner at 415-361-5420 for consideration for this role. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Fund Accountant to join our financial team. As a Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for all aspects of financial accounting and reporting, working closely with the financial team to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a proven ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accounting records for the funds including journals, ledgers, and financial statements. Perform daily NAV calculation and reconciliation. Ensure accuracy and completeness of fund transactions and accounting records. Prepare financial statements, reports, and investor statements on a periodic basis. Perform security pricing and position valuation for accurate NAV calculation. Liaise with internal and external auditors, providing all required information. Work closely with portfolio managers and other internal stakeholders for reporting needs. Ensure compliance with industry laws, rules, and regulations. Aid in the improvement and maintenance of procedures and controls. Requirements Hybrid work setting with and in Office requirement of Three days a week Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Proven experience as a Fund Accountant or similar role. Knowledge of accounting principles, industry standards, and regulations. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel). Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Strong numerical abilities and problem-solving mindset. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. CPA or CFA certification will be a plus. Note: Equal opportunity employer.
