Duties include receiving and unpackaging chemicals; adding chemicals to inventories using handheld scanners; barcoding chemical containers and entering information such as chemical name, physical state, & container types into the inventory system using a mobile app; delivering chemicals to laboratories; providing technical support and ad hoc training to end users of the purchasing system; and conducting routine reconciliation of both stockroom and laboratory chemical inventories. The job requires attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed standard operating procedures. Strong commitment to customer service is required. Knowledge of chemical hazards and laboratory safety protocols is preferred.Salary Range : $55,700 - $118,500 (Annual Rate)Department Description : The Research Resource Program (RRP) provides strategic planning and implementation of programs to support core facilities and other research resources at UCSF.
