About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Banking Research and Insights Lead (Lead Analytics Consultant) to support B2B banking insights and research that will help to shape positive customer and business outcomes. Reporting to the Head of Market Research within Consumer Insights, this role will help Wells Fargo bring insights to drive customer-centric decision-making for product development, experience enhancement, marketing optimization and more. The ideal candidate for this role has experience in B2B research management, specifically focused on small and midsize businesses, and strong familiarity of B2B syndicated research. Lead Market Research programs related to Wells Fargo Small and Business Banking

Consult with business partners to understand business strategies and challenges

Develop learning agendas and design research programs to address business needs

Manage research programs from requesting vendor proposals to executing market research programs (qualitative and quantitative) and delivering compelling insights to drive business decisions

Lead methodology selection and analytic plan recommendations

Leverage communication skills to prepare tailored communications, reports and professional presentations

Socialize and present findings along with recommendations to business partners at all management levels

Collaborate and influence decision-making with actionable recommendations

Provide day-to-day project management to execute programs within budgets, timelines, and legal/compliance requirements

Collaborate with other Insights professionals to identify opportunities for creating efficiencies and modernizing insight practices

Stay abreast of research technique advances while complying with and adhering to all regulations and internal policies related to research execution

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

5+ years of consumer insights experience

Experience managing a variety or market research methods, both quantitative and qualitative

Experience managing research studies with small and medium sized business, revenues up to $25 million

Ability to synthesize disparate information into strategic insights

Knowledge of syndicated research resources focused on small and medium sized businesses

Experience with Microsoft Office (Facile in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)

Experience with SPSS, Qualtrics, think-cell, or Tableau

Strong relationship building skills; ability to collaborate and influence business decisions

Proven track record managing vendors and agency partners

Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and as a contributor, to motivate participation with peers

Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage a wide range of audiences and levels within an organization

Self-motivated, energetic and forward thinking, possessing integrity and high ethical standards

Enthusiasm and a capacity to overcome barriers and make impactful change

Job Expectations:

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
