Bookkeeper

Description We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks including processing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with month-end close processes. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Handle accounts payable and receivable Assist with the reconciliation of bank statements Enter data accurately into the system Support the month-end close process Help in maintaining budgets and comparing them to actuals in QuickBooks Ensure customer credit applications are processed accurately and efficiently Maintain customer credit records with high precision Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as required Use Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze data Work with QuickBooks and Bill.com for various accounting tasks. Requirements Proficiency in using QuickBooks and Bill.com Minimum of 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping role Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations Mastery of Bookkeeping principles and practices Efficient in Data Entry tasks Proficient use of Microsoft Excel Experience with Month End Close procedures Familiarity with Payroll managementRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
