Azure Cloud .Net Application Architect - Remote”. This is a Long Term Contract Position.Position Overview: We are seeking talented hands-on technical architects to lead us on our journey to the cloud. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your skills to architect and build a new portfolio of applications and services using the latest cloud technologies.Required:10 + years of large scale software development or application engineering with recent coding experience in the following languages: C#, .NET
10+ Architecting, designing and developing applications on Azure Platform
API development and lifecycle management using Apigee
Microservices architecture design on one or more of the major cloud platforms
Experience operating in an Agile SCRUM environment
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools, technologies and best practices
Designing and building application using container and Serverless technologies
Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability and high availability
Good exposure to Agile software development and DevOps practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Continuous Integration and automated deployment
Continuous Integration (CI) tools (e.g. Jenkins)
Configuration Management platforms (e.g. Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible)
Strong practical application development experience on Linux and Windows-based systems
Azure Solutions Architect or equivalent certification is desired
