Description A non-profit organization dedicated to providing legal aid and advocating for social justice. You will provide comprehensive legal services, including advocacy, negotiation, and courtroom representation. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and empathetic attorney with excellent communication skills and a passion for social justice.Responsibilities
Represent clients in eviction defense cases
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare for hearings
Negotiate with landlords and opposing counsel
Advocate for clients in court
Collaborate with colleagues and provide support to volunteers
Conduct trainings and outreach as needed

Requirements
Qualifications
J.D. degree and in good standing with the California Bar
Strong commitment to social justice
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
Experience with client representation (a plus)
Fluency in a second language (highly preferred)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure
