Description We are in search of a meticulous Accounts Payable Specialist to become a part of our healthcare team in San Francisco, California. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. In this role, you will play a significant part in maintaining our financial records, analyzing accounts payable, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices.Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounts payable activities, excluding account coding and general ledger responsibilities. Scrutinize invoices and deal with any variances that may arise. Keep the accounts payable inbox up-to-date and efficiently organized. Create and understand purchase orders, providing any necessary training. Work in collaboration with the senior accounts payable lead to ensure smooth operations. Utilize Workday system for various tasks, although its knowledge is not a pre-requisite. Ensure that all financial data is recorded accurately and promptly. Provide adequate responses to customer inquiries in a timely manner. Oversee customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions when necessary. Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role within the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industry. Proven proficiency in Account Coding, demonstrating an ability to accurately categorize and allocate financial data. Strong experience with Workday software, showcasing an ability to efficiently manage financial processes and systems. Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures, exhibiting a capability to handle various AP tasks such as invoice processing, payment processing, and reconciliation. Familiarity with Purchase Orders, demonstrating an ability to accurately process and track orders, and ensure their alignment with budgetary constraints.
