Helpdesk Support Technician

This is an immediate, full-time, Helpdesk opportunity in the San Fernando Valley for someone with at least one year of previous helpdesk experience supporting a wide range of customers. You will install software on user's devices, manage configuration updates, oversee account access, and support general helpdesk calls from users. This position is constantly dealing with customers/users and requires excellent customer support skills. Job Duties Include:

  • Assist internal and external customers with software installations, software configuration changes, account access issues and general user interface navigation requests
  • Diagnose and research software/hardware issues to resolve connectivity and/or software configuration problems
  • Perform content filtering request changes
  • Proactively communicate with customers and follow through with requests, feedback and questions via phone, video conference, screenshare and/or e-mail
  • Address incoming support needs from students and families via phone, email and/or remote sessions
  • Contribute clear and concise case documentation to our ticketing and knowledge management system
  • Add and remove users from various services (network, phone, email lists, copiers, etc.)
  • Support users with Accounts Payable, Accounting and Payroll systems issues
  • Utilize ticketing system and vendors’ technical support resources to help resolve client issues
  • Continuously improve our knowledge base, troubleshooting techniques and IT processes
