Work hours: M-F, 9 AM – 1 PM or later if local. As needed if remote.

Relaxed, rapidly changing, fast paced, environment.

Can you tell me how you will solve a problem before I tell you what the problem is?

If you can’t, that’s alright. If you work with me, you will learn how to solve it, and just about any other problem you come across.

I love solving problems. My job is problem solving. Your job is also problem solving and everything else that needs to be done.

You will be working on numerous projects that include focus on personal evolution and service to others.

They include a plan to reverse America’s economic decline, and a plan to help natural medicine become better understood and more prevalent.

Most companies are interested in your education and experience. I am more interested in your mental habits, abilities, and attitudes.

This is a job for someone who thinks independently, and can work efficiently in areas that are new.

It requires someone who is a great collaborator and who can find a better way to do almost anything, even if it's new to you, and even if the "pros" have been doing it differently for years.

If you are self-educated, you are probably better educated than if you are college educated. However, college degrees are not necessarily a disadvantage.

Business administration experience is useful, but not required.

If you think about how poorly, even arrogantly, many companies are run, you may understand why I am looking for a special person, with special qualities, more than a person with specific education and experience.

You can expect to learn far more in this environment, than in any university, and be paid for your work.

Conventional thinking says that you should go to college, get a degree, maybe an advanced degree, then get a job.

By the time you spend years of your time, thousands of dollars, and lose many more thousands of dollars in lost income, you may decide, that you chose the wrong path. By then, you may have financial responsibilities that make it difficult to change course.

If you wish to be successful, in business, you may get an MBA. You may be taught by professors, who studied business, but who never owned a business.

Apprenticeship can be much better than college.

What if you could learn from someone you respect and enjoy working with, and be paid for learning, instead of paying tuition?

Are you motivated by much more than money?

If so, what?

Would you like to work on solving some of the world’s greatest problems? Do you think that learning to learn is more important than learning a particular subject? Do you have your own ways of learning?

What would you like to learn?

Would you like to work in an environment that is in harmony with your own ways of thinking and learning?

If you have little administrative experience, this may be an advantage, because it is easier to train a person than to un-train and retrain a person.

This job is like being Vice President of a company, and your own Executive Assistant, at the same time.

The more that you learn, the more that you will take charge of everything.

If you love freedom, you may find an unusual degree of freedom in this environment.

Freedom requires responsibility.

The more responsible you are, the more you will feel free.

A strong background in math, science, chess, checkers, go, video games, or logic is a great asset, because these disciplines greatly enhance the ability to think.

This job involves a lot of collaborative writing, and typing with live dictation. It requires a typing speed of 90-120 wpm. It also involves a lot of administration, organization, development of procedures, use of those procedures, and follow through for projects in various stages of completion.

This is an unusual job for an unusual person. It involves extensive use of computers, but is primarily administrative.

It includes troubleshooting PC’s, Apple computers, and other hardware.

This includes:

Installing and writing procedures, for Apple computers and PC hardware, software, Kindle,

MP3 players, speakers, printers, SSDs, external hard drives, etc.

ConnectWise, TeamViewer, Google Voice, Zoom, and Skype

Outlook, Thunderbird/Mailbird, Word, Excel

Networking, WiFi, routers

Macros

Organizing files and documents so they are easily searchable

Researching new products

The job requires the ability to focus completely on one job at a time, and the ability to frequently shift this focus.

This is a difficult job with constant change. If you are resistant to change, this is not the job for you.

This job will be a life changing experience. You will learn about your strengths and weaknesses. You will learn how to do almost anything better.

You will likely learn enough, about health, so that you will never get sick, and will extend your life by five to ten years.

What are your thoughts about living a life that is healthy as possible, for as long as possible?

The work is in a non-smoking residential environment, two blocks from the beach, in Point Loma (San Diego). You will be working mostly with one person, in a casual work environment, with unusually high standards.

If you are a high achiever, looking to further develop your talents, and achieve new levels of effectiveness, in all areas of your life, this might be the place.

I guarantee that you will make many mistakes and learn more than you could expect to learn in any university.

This job involves an unusually high level of collaboration.

It is important that we cooperate, and look after each other's interests, without being adversaries.

Disagreement is necessary to find the best ideas, because two people have more good ideas than either one.

Similarly, it is more valuable to reveal your mistakes and weaknesses than to conceal them.

Unfortunately, many people avoid disagreement and conceal their mistakes because they are more interested in being right and looking good than in finding the best ideas.

What are your thoughts about working in an environment that encourages disagreement and revealing mistakes?

We have three rules. The first rule is to have fun. The second rule is don’t forget the first rule. The third rule is no more rules.

The work is important.

You are more important than the work.

Having fun is more important than the work.

How you feel is more important than the work.

Learning is more important than the work.

The responsibilities are everything necessary to run a problem solving enterprise. Think of everything that goes along with running any small business.

If you think that this sounds like the right job for you, and that you are likely to be the right person for this job, please provide the following, name, phone number, zip code where you live, email address, resume, salary history, requested compensation, typing speed, using typingtest.com, website address, if you have one, why you are interested in this job, and why you are qualified.

This is a long ad designed to save time, yours and mine. You won't have to spend a lot of time applying, traveling to an appointment, interviewing, etc., before finding out whether you are interested and likely to be qualified.

Do you have any suggestions for improving this ad?
