Amazing Dogs rescues dogs on both sides of the US/MX border. After giving them all required medical care and time to recover, we find them a new home by organizing dog adoption events at 8 different locations in Oregon and California.
For our weekly trip to the Bay Area and Oregon in a 2023 Mercedes Sprinter, we are looking for a professional driver who loves dogs! Your job is to pickup the dogs in San Ysidro every Friday at 6am and then take them to 2 events in Northern California and Oregon. You will be back in San Diego on Monday late afternoon.
Besides the almost 2000 mile drive, it is your responsibility to let the dogs 'de-stress' every 4-5 hours at one of the designated dog parks along the way and to keep the van clean at all times. The 4 days that you are on the road with the doggies, there will not be much time for anything else
Main requirements:
- Experienced driver (US drivers license)
- Physically very fit and able to take 30 dogs in/out of the car
- Love for dogs and even better, passion for dog rescue
- Living within 30min distance of San Ysidro border
- Optional: Space to park the van at your residence (not in street)
Compensation:
- $1700 per trip
- You pay for food and lodging
