Solar Field Technician & Site Coordinator - Solar Negotiators

Pay Range: $20-$30/hr + Performance Bonus

Are you looking for a hands-on role in the solar industry where every day is different? We’re searching for a Solar Operations Specialist to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring seamless solar installations. What You'll Do:

- Site Preparation & Cleanup: Travel to job sites to finalize solar projects by handling electrical wiring, commissioning, and quality control.

- Site Surveys & Documentation: Assess roof conditions, electrical service, and structural integrity while gathering crucial data to optimize solar system designs.

- Permitting & Compliance: Visit local permitting offices to secure solar installation permits, keeping projects on schedule.

- Inventory & Logistics: Keep the warehouse organized, track materials, and coordinate with subcontractors for deliveries and pickups.

- Customer & Team Support: Work directly with homeowners and installers to ensure a smooth installation experience.

What We’re Looking For:

- Experience in solar, roofing, electrical work, or a related field (preferred but not required).

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

- Comfortable working at heights and in various outdoor conditions.

- Basic computer literacy and ability to neatly record measurements.

- A valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.

- Ability to lift at least 45 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders.

Bonus Points For:

- Forklift certification or experience.

- Solar battery certifications.

- FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot License.
