Welder with Robotic Welder Experience –Must HAVE corresponding experience to apply
Full time Position- Pay-$25-$35 depending on demonstrated level of ability
First or second shift-0600-2:30 or 2:30 -11:00pm
Job Summary:
Applicant MUST be able to understand designing and programming for robotic welding
Maintaining and troubleshooting welding robot
Implementing robotic welding for production
Preparing equipment, loading materials, overseeing weld quality, and performing maintenance as a robotic welder operator
Setting up machines, inspecting finished welds, troubleshooting issues, and implementing necessary adjustments as a welding robot operator

Essential Job Functions-experience with:
1. MIG and TIG welding. Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal (aluminum, steel, and stainless steel) with appropriate welding techniques using hand tools and weld assembly fixtures and equipment (hydraulic tools etc)
2. Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine appropriate welding process. Able to assemble fabrications within the tolerances required by the drawings and standard Freeberg practices
3. Inspects completed welds to engineering drawings for accuracy and structural soundness
4. Accurately completes traveler paperwork and computer data entry to reflect work completed and distributes the welded parts according to traveler
5. Utilize company Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP), Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO9001:2008 rules and procedures as they apply to their role in safety and quality
Minimum Requirements
1. High School Diploma or equivalent
2. 2-5 years of experience in the field and/or related area
Abilities Required
1. Pass weld certification tests of selected processes as determined by supervisor
2. Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, vision protection, respiratory equipment, steel-toed shoes and/or other appropriate protective clothing
3. Work well with others with strong teamwork skills
4. Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead frequently
5. Stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours per day
6. Safely lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs. frequently
7. Work in an outdoor (non-air conditioned) industrial shop environment
8. Obtain a license to operate overhead cranes (2.5 and/or 5 ton)
9. Obtain a license to operate forklift (6000#, and/or 15000#, and/or 25000#)
10. Competent in basic shop math
11. Read, write, and understand English
