Position Overview:
The Production and Operations Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director of Operations and Venue Manager in the set up, operations, and execution of live events at Quartyard. This role ensures seamless production operations, oversees logistics, and collaborates with production crews, vendors, artists, and venue staff to deliver high-quality experiences for performers and attendees.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the execution of concerts, festivals, and special events at the venue.
Carry out production logistics, including stage setup, sound, lighting, and backline requirements.
Assist Audio-1 Technician in monitor patching, load in, load out, and general set up of live band and DJ performances.
Work with the operations team to oversee venue setup, load-in, and load-out processes.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, permits, and venue policies.
At times: Actively support event staff for running side work,
Support vendor and contractor relationships, ensuring smooth communication and execution of contracts.
Maintain inventory of production and operations equipment, ensuring proper storage and maintenance.
Troubleshoot on-site operational issues to ensure events run smoothly.
Assist in tracking expenses, and reconciling event-related costs.
Assist in venue organization, layout set up, break down, and other utility tasks as needed (changing lights, repairing furniture, moving signage, plants, etc.)
Qualifications:
Previous experience in event production, operations, or stage management, preferably in a live music or entertainment setting.
Passionate about live music and event experiences.
Strong understanding of live event logistics, including audio, lighting, and stage design.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations and emergency procedures related to outdoor venues.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and desire to be a great team player
Ability to lift and carry equipment, stand for extended periods, and work in varying weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:
Entry level
Interest in event management, production, or a related field is a plus.
Experience working with bands in a fast paced environment
Proficiency in basic sound and lighting equipment
Crowd management experience is a plus.
Love to stay busy and find things to do at the workplace.
