Job description

We are a small San Marcos based service plumbing company with a team of 3 other plumbers.

This is a good job for a long-time service plumber. Or someone who has successfully managed a service plumbing company before.

We're looking for a Service Manager to oversee the other plumbers, perform your own service calls as needed, maintain the company vehicle fleet, stock, provide customer service and employee management daily, and generally manage all aspects of the daily operations.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage all aspects of service operations. This will include scheduling and dispatching plumbing service calls and plumbers. As well as dealing with customer service issues like unhappy customers, or callbacks. This is alongside an Office Manager counterpart who works full time in the office.

- Ensure timely completion of service requests and projects, meeting quality standards and customer expectations. When mistakes happen, something goes wrong, or a customer is not 100% happy, you deal well with the customer service resolution.

- Monitor and analyze service performance. Focus on selling jobs and getting all jobs billed out on time and correctly to keep revenue and cash flow steady. Identify areas in need of improvement and take initiative to make those corrections.

- Provide leadership and guidance to service plumbers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties effectively.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their concerns and resolving any issues that arise.

- Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress, identify potential risks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

-Conduct routine safety meetings with the service plumbers. Address each person's areas in need of improvement, and keep in close touch with them to help them grow, learn, and evolve.

-Maintain a fleet of 5 vehicles getting them routine maintenance, repairs, etc. Keep them well stocked and organized for our service plumber's need.

Experience:

- Minimum of 10 years experience as a quality service plumber. No call backs. You can do any and every call one of our homeowners calls for, but you get to pick and choose which you do and which you assign to the plumbers.

- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year with regular raises and bonuses
