We are looking for talented people to join the firm and collaborate with our wonderful clients, partners and teams. We currently have an opportunity in our master welder position in our Research and Development Department.
About the Position…
-The Master Welder Fabricator is a key player in our company responsible for fabricating our architectural steel windows and door projects along with working with our company owner, lead designer and Operations Manager to create new products. Including but, not limited to furniture, decorative metal structures, and lighting. Our goal is create full packages for clients for special environments that will impact the built environment.
-Must be coachable and understand and interpret production drawings and shop orders.
-10+ Years of Experience with MIG & TIG welding.
-Fine attention to detail and artisan craftsmanship with less than a 5% error rate, and can work with minimal supervision.
- Experience with Steel, Brass, Stainless and Bronze are a must.
Your Background…
-Measurement skills needed to measure up to 1/32 of an inch.
-Need to pass our challenging welding test with upmost precision.
-Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control.
-Good math skills.
-Education requirements: GED preferred
-Physical demands: lifting material up to 30-50 lbs required to move materials around the shop
-Environment: Subject to loud noise and hazards of moving parts, vehicles, electricity
