We are seeking a skilled and licensed C-22 Asbestos Abatement Specialist to lead our asbestos remediation projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in asbestos abatement techniques and regulations, along with strong leadership and project management skills. As a key member of our team, you will oversee all aspects of asbestos abatement projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise asbestos abatement projects from inception to completion, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
Conduct site assessments and inspections to identify asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) and assess project scope and requirements.
Develop detailed abatement plans in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals for abatement projects.
Lead and oversee asbestos removal crews, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, procedures, and quality standards.
Conduct pre- and post-abatement inspections, air monitoring, and clearance testing to verify the effectiveness of removal activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including records of work performed, waste disposal manifests, and clearance reports.
