PAY: $25-$28/hour (based upon experience)
HOURS: Shifts will be 8-hour workdays, 5 days per week (possible Overtime)
SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday-Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
START DATE: ASAP
Duration: Temp to permanent
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team in Santee, CA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems, along with a strong understanding of efficient water use and landscape health.
Qualifications for Irrigation Technician:
Install irrigation systems, including piping, valves, and controllers.
Maintain and inspect irrigation systems regularly.
Diagnose and repair system issues such as leaks and clogs.
Adjust schedules and controllers for optimal water use.
Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs.
Ensure compliance with water regulations and safety standards.
Provide guidance to team members on irrigation best practices.
Conduct site assessments for system design and needs.
Seasonal services: winterization, spring startups, and adjustments.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical irrigation components.
Manage irrigation parts inventory.
Communicate effectively with clients to resolve concerns.
Maintain clean and safe job sites.
Additional Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver’s license.
Irrigation certification (e.g., Certified Irrigation Technician) is a plus.
Prior experience in irrigation installation and maintenance.
Knowledge of irrigation systems, components, and troubleshooting.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
