SeeScan is seeking an Injection Molding Technician to join our in-house mold shop.
Compensation
The pay range for our Injection Molding Technician position is $23 to $27 hourly.
This range represents a good-faith estimate based on the qualifications we expect to find in a successful candidate. Actual compensation offered may be less or greater than this estimate based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, our assessment of your ability to bring value to our organization.

In this position, you will
Set up and debug plastic injection molds using a variety of techniques, tools, resins, and molds
Start up and shut down injection molding machines
Ensure that the correct material has been loaded and that the correct temperature has been set per resin drying guidelines
Document the quantity, batch and lot numbers of material used
Visually inspect parts for flashing, warping, short shots or any other part defects
Sort, count and package parts per work orders
Assist other team members as needed for mold changes, machine troubleshooting, or any other issues that may arise
Your background
5+ years’ hands-on experience in injection molding
Proficient with basic troubleshooting and problem solving of injection molding issues
Basic understanding of Hot Runner Molds and the supporting equipment
Understanding of basic machine functions to meet all specified requirements
Familiarity with Fanuc Roboshot injection molding machines and controls is a plus
