Responsibilities
Read numbers and measurements on production paperwork to determine cut sizes and pieces.
Set up and operate power fed straight line rip.
Pull boards from cart, load onto machine, feed board through machine and retrieve cut boards
on the other end.
Set up and operate cut off saw to size wood components for rails and stiles.
Pull face frame stocked parts from cart, place on table, feed under guard, measure, hold wood
securely, operate foot pedal to activate saw.
Drill pocket holes into frame parts with face driller, foot pedal operated.
Lay out face frame pieces on assembly rack.
Glue, clamp, and screw connecting frame parts following cabinet construction
drawing/paperwork.
Sand face frame with Drum Sander.
Use Pneumatic sander to complete the sanding of the face frame profile.
Clean off face frames when sanding using a compressed air hose.
Lift and place the completed faces on cart for the next work station.
Sweep and pick up debris over, around and under machines and work areas.
Requirements
Ability to learn and retain on the job training.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to read measurement tools such as a tape measure.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common
fractions and decimals.
Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions in English.
Ability to meet quality standards - strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to consistently meet/exceed production quotas.
