Has a rare opportunity for an experienced, motivated, Warranty Administrator. As with all positions within dealerships, Warranty Administrators are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards.
Essential Functions:
Process all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation and verify criteria required by the factory.
Keep up on all factory recalls, announcements, current warranty procedures and factory required training
Reconcile all warranty receivables and work with the accounting department to obtain payments
Maintain all service and customer records as required by the warrantor
Process extended warranty and prepaid maintenance plan documents for the purpose of receiving payment in full within a timely manner
Reconcile receivables with schedules to match payment and claim amounts
Other duties may be assigned as needed
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:
Experience within the automotive industry (identification, inspection, classification of component groups, etc.) and overall automotive knowledge
Ability to lift-up to 15 pounds
Ability to perform all essential functions of the job description

Ability to manage complex and multi-step processes needed to complete warranty paperwork and submissions
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs
Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers, 10-key calculator, and copier
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines
Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Physical Demands:
Regularly stands, walks, sits; uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; talks and hears. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
