Job Title: Overnight Yard Security Guard
Pay: Up to $20/hour DOE
Schedule: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Location: Otay Mesa
We’re hiring an Overnight Yard Security Guard to help monitor and protect the yard during non-business hours. This role is ideal for someone who is alert, reliable, and takes pride in keeping people and property safe.
Key Responsibilities:
Patrol the yard regularly to ensure all areas are secure
Monitor and report any suspicious activity, vehicles, or persons
Check gates, trailers, and access points for proper locking and placement
Maintain accurate logs of all incidents and rounds
Communicate with onsite teams and emergency contacts as needed
Enforce company security procedures and safety standards
Requirements:
Prior experience in security or yard monitoring preferred
Ability to stay alert and focused during overnight shifts
Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
Reliable transportation to and from the job site
Strong communication and observation skills
