BioTuring is seeking multiple candidates for Technical Account Manager (TAM) for our single-cell software platform.
This role is designed to help BioTuring’s strategic pharmaceutical companies apply BioTuring's advanced single-cell analytics software and database solutions toward their drug discovery goals. The position is responsible for maintaining and helping to expand existing relationships while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support, training, and demonstrate software for new and existing users
Monitor and improve account metrics and maintain a detailed account summary
Communicate customer requests to internal teams and keep customers updated on progress
Desired Skills and Background
Enthusiastic, and eager to learn
A good understanding of single-cell sequencing technologies and single-cell analytics
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding relationship building and interpersonal skills
Good background in the Biological Sciences: Molecular Biology, Immunology, and Oncology
Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Advanced degree preferred
Ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team environment
Location: San Diego, California
This is a non-research, administrative management position requiring excellent interpersonal and writing skills, a high level of organization, diplomacy, focus, ability to work under tight deadlines, and familiarity with biomedical research environments. This can be an ideal position for those who want to move from experimental biology to technology & bioinformatics.
