Senior Level Engineer – Managed Service Provider (MSP)
Location: Remote (Work from Home) with On-Site Visits as Needed

We are looking for a person with the following
- Office 365 & Azure Expertise:
- Provide expert-level support for Office 365, Teams, and Azure environments.
- Design, implement, and manage hybrid setups within Entra and Active Directory.
- Network & Server Management:
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking principles.
- Configure and manage Windows Server environments, including Hyper-V virtualization.
- Implement and maintain firewalls such as Sophos or similar, ensuring robust threat management.
- Scripting & Automation:
- Utilize PowerShell for scripting and automation tasks.
- Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) & Professional Services Automation (PSA):
- Experience with RMM and PSA tools is a plus.
- Process Documentation:
- Document IT processes and procedures; proficiency with Visio is a plus.
- Sandbox Environment:
- Maintain and experiment with a personal home network or sandbox environment for continuous learning and testing.
- Client Collaboration:
- Work closely with clients to assess their IT needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Perform on-site visits as required to ensure optimal client satisfaction.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Qualifications
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years in IT, with a strong preference for candidates currently working at another MSP.
- Technical Expertise:
- Deep understanding of Office 365, Teams, Azure, and Entra platforms.
- Proficient in hybrid setups within Entra and Active Directory.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Hyper-V.
- Expertise in TCP/IP networking and threat management solutions.
- Experience with firewalls such as Sophos or other similar technologies.
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting.
- Knowledge of RMM and PSA tools is a plus.
- Experience maintaining a personal network or sandbox environment is a major plus.
- Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with documenting processes; Visio experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently from home and collaboratively within a team.
