Walter Andersen Nursery is a locally owned operated garden center, located in the Sports Arena / Midway area is seeking a full time Customer Service associate.
We are looking for an individual with plant, landscape or Hort knowledge. Prior nursery experience or garden center experience preferred - but self taught is OK!
The position includes (but is not limited to the following) duties;
- answering gardening questions in person and on the phone
- showing customers to the plants they are looking for
- recommending plants, soils and fertilizer and other garden supplies to customers
- identifying plants, bugs and plant disease
- caring for plants and working on displays
- greeting customers
- working as part of a team of high spirited and fun people
