Hiring for Retail Sales Supervisor and Key Holder positions for Sea Hive Mini in Mission Valley Mall
We are also hiring for summer seasonal sales staff.
Sea Hive Mini is looking for 30-35 hours a week availability and staff ready to jump into the world of sustainable fashion and lifestyle at our store in Mission Valley Mall.
Sea Hive Mini is a smaller version of our larger stores in Liberty Station, La Jolla Village, and South Oceanside. We are a collective of local vendors selling vintage, antiques, handmade, and curated goods, and we are looking for positive, reliable, and creative staff to give excellent customer service and help us become a shopping destination for locals and visitors to San Diego.
We are currently hiring for sales supervisor and key holder positions, 30-35 hours a week. Weekend and evening availability is a must.
Our hours are 10am-9pm Monday-Saturday, 11am-7pm Sundays.
Typical shifts are:
9:30am-6pm
11am-730pm
1pm-9:30pm
Our supervisory staff is responsible for the customer experience; we want self motivated staff who can keep up when the store is busy and also find ways to stay busy when the store is slow. Above all- a great attitude is a must!
Some of the job responsibilities are cashiering, assisting customers with products, fitting room assistance, tidying vendor booths, loss prevention awareness, and light janitorial work. Supervisors oversee opening and closing procedures including counting registers, creating deposits, and managing staff. Key holders may occasionally open the store, count registers and create deposits if staffing is short- may be in charge for a few hours in the absence of managers.
