We seek an experienced salesperson to become an integral part of our team! We are a small ocean-themed gift shop specializing in beautiful jewelry, gifts, shells, and high-end sunglasses. You will be responsible for selling products, merchandising, cleaning, and services in a retail setting to drive company revenue. Currently offering a seasonal position but can lead to a part-time position based on performance.
Responsibilities:
Greeting customers, answering questions, making recommendations, accepting payment, and providing a welcoming shopping experience for everyone
Monitor inventory to ensure the product is in stock
Cleaning, organizing, and restocking
Ability to take direction and work independently
Qualifications:
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
Ability to manage time and complete daily tasks
Ability to build rapport with customers
Excellent verbal communication skills
Strong work ethic
Basic math and computer skills
Punctual, friendly, helpful, and dependable
