We are looking for a Full Time Bookkeeper / Office / leasing specialist for a property management company in San Diego. The ideal candidate will have previous Bookkeeping experience in any industry, but property management is preferred. In order to be successful in this position, the candidate must be organized and have the ability to work efficiently. If this is you, come work for a property management company that has been in business for 25 years.

JOB SUMMARY: Compiles and maintains bookkeeping records; reconciles statements, enters data, processes move-out statements, accounts payables, and follows up on outstanding accounts receivables. Provides office and leasing support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but are not limited to:

Process all incoming vendor information to maintain current vendor records

Receive, process, and reconcile all incoming invoices.

Review and process all vendor invoices in a timely manner

Reconcile schedules for correct posting of charges and payments

Verify all invoices, vouchers, and check requests have appropriate payment approval

Answer all A/P & A/R inquiries in a timely fashion

Post daily deposits/rents

Perform all month end closing tasks

Willing to work on one weekend day

Performs all related administrative tasks

Receiving and dispatching work order requests and other resident matters

Occasionally tours prospective residents

Occasionally performing move-in and move-outs

Any other property management functions not mentioned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 2 year of booking and or A/P & A/R experience or college course work equivalent

Property Management experience preferred, not required

Excellent computer skills

Good communication skills

Organized

Good work ethic

Valid Driver’s License

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Offers of employment contingent upon successfully passing background screening (incl. criminal background check & drug test).
