Technician currently needed for San Diego and Los Angeles areas:
Our Southern California company has been providing and servicing medical life support systems for the healthcare industry since 1977. We are looking for a career minded individual to perform repairs, maintenance, installations, and outside service calls on medical air compressors, medical vacuum pumps and related equipment.
If you have lots of mechanical skills, have worked on generators, compressors or engines, or if you have been an outside service technician, this might be the position for you. Opportunity for growth. Service vehicle is provided. Company paid training, credentialing and certifications.
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong mechanical skills
Troubleshooting and repair skills for mechanical, pneumatic and electrical
Plumbing skills are beneficial
Good appearance and customer communication skills a must
Some heavy lifting is required
Basic mechanic hand tools required

VALID CA DRIVERS LICENSE and CLEAN DMV are required. Do not apply without them.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Daily travel to and from numerous facilities to perform services
Perform services on medical air compressors, medical vacuum pumps and related equipment
Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair medical equipment on customer site or in shop
Diagnose and troubleshoot analog or PLC control panels when necessary
Install or remove equipment if needed
Assist other employees in-house or on the job site if required
Safely operate a forklift to off-load and/or move equipment when necessary
Continual evaluation of our client base, jobs and work areas for maintenance and new work
General maintenance, organization and cleaning of vehicle (i.e. check air pressure, oil, water, washes etc.)
Keep mileage log and notify supervisor for scheduling of vehicle maintenance
Perform other duties as assigned
Be on call during assigned weekends (after training period is completed)

After the training period, a 10 hour / 4-day work week – Schedule TBD - 6:00 am – 4:30 pm

COMPENSATION:
Starting pay $28.00 per hour during training period. Increased to $32.00 per hour after training period is completed.
