As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team in the role of Inside Crane Estimator/Dispatch Support.

Position Overview:

The Inside Crane Estimator/Dispatch Support is a pivotal role responsible for managing crane rental projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. This multifaceted position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction by delivering accurate estimates, effective project planning, and seamless coordination with various customers. Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with dispatch, providing support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Estimate Preparation: Develop detailed estimates for crane rental services based on project specifications and customer requirements.

- Customer Interaction: Field incoming office phone calls and serve as the initial point of contact for customers, understanding their needs, providing recommendations, and keeping them informed about project progress.

- Project Planning: Assist in planning crane operations, including logistics, permits, safety requirements, and site-specific considerations.

-Collaboration: Work closely with field estimators, dispatch, and operations team to ensure alignment between estimates, company capabilities, and customer expectations.

- Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, crane technology, safety regulations, and market conditions. Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's cranes, product line, procedures, policies and Union rules.

- Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and quality of estimates before submission to customers, maintaining internal quality standards.

- Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of estimates, and customer communications for future reference and audits.

- Problem Solving: Address and resolve project-related issues promptly, including delays, equipment breakdowns, and staffing challenges.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Project Management, preferably in crane rental or construction industry.

Industry Knowledge: Understanding of crane operations, construction practices, safety regulations, and union regulations.

Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.

Organizational skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.

Problem solving skills: Ability to analyze issues and develop effective solutions promptly.

Technical skills: Familiarity with crane-specific programs such as 3D Lift Planner is advantageous.

Knowledge of Regulations: Understanding of safety regulations, permits, and industry standards related to crane operations.
