Outstanding supplier of aggregate material and building materials seeks Executive Assistant to support the Regional VP/GM. This position will provide comprehensive administrative support to Regional & District Senior Leadership. This position will work in the Kearny Mesa/Miramar area of San Diego and will work in the office Monday-Friday.

Requirements:

Exercise independent judgment and discretion regarding confidential matters

Use advanced computer skills to create, modify and update presentations, write memos, plan conferences/meetings/company events, plan and prepare Regional & District VP meeting materials

Assist with Regional & District VP travel arrangements

Assist with Regional & District budgeting

Post/Communicate Regional/District organizational and policy changes

Interact with internal and external consultants, vendors, business leaders and employees

Participate and document Regional/District meeting minutes and communicate commitments from meeting notes to respective leaders

Organize and manage calendars, expense statements for Senior Regional & District Managers.

Organize, plan, coordinate, execute Regional/District meetings

Manage Region fleet in collaboration with Corporate fleet management team

Maintain explosives permit for Region

Oversee day-to-day function/needs of the Regional/District offices

Self-starter requiring minimal supervision Experience

Minimum 5 years’ administrative experience supporting senior level executives

Expert computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet and Visio

Effective verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external business contacts; excellent customer service skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; excellent listening skills and ability to work with employees at all levels of the corporation

Ability to work with and handle confidential/non-public information

Self-starter with professional demeanor, sensitivity to others and keen willingness to learn

Strong intellectual acumen and practical thinking
